Position summary

The IT Vendor Management Supervisor is responsible for ensuring effective vendor management practices in Nestlé IT. They contribute to the development of strategic concepts based on industry standards, support the evolution of vendor management products, and act as a liaison between IT product teams and vendors. They provide standards, ways of working, and guidance for effective vendor value delivery.

A day in the life of...

• The IT Vendor Management Supervisor is accountable for IT S2P E2E, supporting Product Managers and IT Vendor Management to ensure effective Vendor Management practices and capabilities are employed across Nestle IT.
• He/she contributes to the development and operations of Strategic Concepts based on Industry Standards to support Service Delivery Strategies, Sourcing models, risk/performance management methodologies, and acts as a Subject Matter Expert for collaboration with IT Vendor Management and IT product groups reflecting the requirements in a simplified common framework that includes clearly defined and transparent IT vendor ways of working.
• He/she supports IT Vendor Managers in IT Product Management for Vendor Management product evolution, adoption, and development.
• He/she also helps foster the expected behaviors from all internal and external stakeholders in relation to the IT strategy and IT sourcing strategy, acting as a subject matter expert between IT Product teams and the vendors themselves.
• The IT Vendor Management coordinator can provide IT Product and Platform teams with standards, ways of working for effective Vendor value delivery, templates, and guidance from standards and ways of working, and operational management during contract execution.

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related areas.

• Previous experience in IT vendor management or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of vendor management practices and processes.
• Familiarity with strategic concepts and industry standards related to service delivery strategies, sourcing models, and risk/performance management methodologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with IT vendor management and IT product groups.
• Familiarity with IT product management, capable of supporting the evolution, adoption, and development of vendor management products.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address challenges and opportunities in vendor management.
