Position Summary

Coach and develop a team of National Retail Execution Managers and Reset Specialist to drive productivity initiatives and projects throughout the Nestle Retail Sales (NRS) organization, inclusive of the frozen and beverage distributor network.

 

The Retail Services Lead will provide business and system related support to Nestle Retail Sales in the areas of resets, user technology, analytics, project, revenue acquisition, business development and expert network support. The Retail Services Lead is tasked with developing new concepts by combining business needs, technology, and design ideas all into one.  

 

The successful candidate must reside in territory, this role will cover the Southeast (Florida, The Carolinas, Georgia and Alabama)

 

Responsibilities: 

 

Right people, Right Place: Talent development:
• Lead, develop and encourage team to drive growth and exceed high performance targets
• Use career path and chessboard to promote talent movement
• Drive development through adoption of capability tools 
• Role model the Nestle Leadership Framework and reinforce critical behaviors through robust PDP process

 

Communication with Retail Support Groups:
• Gather promotional plans, synthesizes data and directs retail accordingly to support resets
• Identify need for incremental retail support/space (surge, resets), establish budget, facilitate execution 
• Establish an annual communication plan (quality, actionable communication) 
• Communicate specific program/promotion information and requirements 
• Create surveys as needed and facilitate POG execution with retail 
• Direct conduit to the frozen & beverage division sales team, frozen & beverage CAM’s and the distributor management team
• Communicate and coordinate recall direction (pre and post) 
• Communicate execution updates and new item information to ensure execution 
• Participate in meetings with retail support groups to ensure execution priorities are understood 
• Communicate incentive programming 

 

Monitoring Retail Execution:
• Conduct store audits to include shelf conditions, pricing, promotional activity and project execution 
• Lead, manage, and facilitate national compliance measures
• Use data sources to determine promotion, pricing, assortment compliance 
• Conduct scorecard analyses, identifies gaps and communicate to appropriate parties

 

Customer Integration:
• Attend customer team meetings and actively represents retail voice 
• Represent retail to customer and link internal/external insights
• Actively engage with customer retail operations (homestore, space technology-POG’s)

 

Key Experiences: What experiences are key to success in this job?
• 5+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing 
• 3+ years of experience leading people
• Strong organizational, planning, project management skills 
• Ability to confidently work with all levels of the organization 
• Knowledge of Core business process (Sales, distribution, customer planning, category management, finance, CFSC, etc) 
• Knowledge of Nestle existing systems and technology platforms 
• Knowledge on categories, consumer and shopper insights, customers and marketplace  
• Strong interpersonal skills 
• B.S./B.A. preferred or Industry experience equivalent
