Position Summary
 

For our Nestlé’s Factories and Distribution Centers (Avanca and Porto), we are currently looking for an HR Manager – Factories and Logistics Operations. Reporting to the Head of HR & Services Nestlé Portugal. This professional will be accountable for the People Agenda across Nestlé Factories and Distribution Centers in Portugal, driving the implementation of the People Strategy aligned with business priorities. 
 

A day in the life of an HR Manager – Factories and Logistics Operations might include... 

 
HR Strategy & Organizational Design

•    Develop people strategies to attract and retain talent, ensuring alignment with business goals;
•    Optimize organizational structures for agility and performance while managing change for smooth transitions.
•    Champions Nestlé Values and Principles

 

Performance Management & Employee Engagement

•    Oversee talent calibration and succession planning, ensuring accountability in performance management;
•    Foster a culture of engagement and resolve personnel issues while maintaining compliance.

 

HR Operations & Leadership Development

•    Lead HR operations for recruitment, training, and administration, focusing on service quality and digitalization;
•    Support continuous learning and engage with HR networks to share best practices.

 

What will make you successful


•    Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Management, or related field;
•    Demonstrated ability to influence and coach senior leaders;

•    Experience managing change and implementing HR initiatives aligned with business strategy;
•    Strong background in talent management, organizational development and employee relations;
•    Proven HR leadership experience preferably in an industrial or supply chain environment with a minimum of 5 years of experience;

•    Experience leading and developing HR teams;
•    Strong personal credibility and ability to build trust at all organizational levels.
