Position Summary

For our Factory in Avanca, we are currently looking for a Production Assistant.

Reporting directly to Manufacturing Manager, this professional will be responsible to coordinate the entire production process of the sector, in accordance with all procedures established for the Occupational Safety and Health Management System and the Environmental Management System, Good Practices for Food Safety and Hygiene, as well as the fulfillment of the management goals determined for the production sector.

A day in the life of...

• Daily control of production and its profitability;

• Coordinate the teams within the established norms;

• Coordinate the resolution of problems affecting production;

• Ensure compliance with: safety rules, quality requirements, productivity, standards and other criteria or methodologies inherent to operational functions;

• Supervise the correct identification of the product resulting from the process;

• Analyse and check KPIs and present them during Operational Meetings;

• Supervise the Hygiene and Cleaning of machines and facilities;

• Actively participate in training activities;

• Maintain a high level of information and communication with management and teams;

• Alignment of sector goals with the factory, involving the different stakeholders needed;

• Ensure and participate in the implementation of different TPM methodologies and mindset.

What Will Make You Successful?

• Master in Engineering (Mechanical, Engineering and Industrial Management, or similar);

• Minimum experience of 2 years in leadership/team coordination in industry;

• Proficiency in English;

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills;

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and SAP is a plus;

• Proactivity and collaboration mindset;

• Focus on goals and results;

• Strong communication skills.
