Position Summary

 

In this position, you will further develop the Coffee category planning processes with our factories and our upstream suppliers in line with business expectations and lead a team of experienced strategic production planners and daily production planners based in the Coffee Supply Chain hub in Avenches.

A day in the life of a Nespresso Supply Planning Team Manager

 

  • Manage the production capacity for the 3 factories to meet the business requirements for the next 2 year
  • Lead the end to end coffee launches activities in the organization aligning an extended number of stakeholders in the Headquarter (Marketing, Sustainability, Procurement, Quality, Product Development, Master Data, Application Group)
  • Build a strong network with our internal suppliers (coffee factories) and external suppliers (green coffee, packaging materials)
  • Ensure continuous alignment with Business expectations while meeting the agreed levels of  SC performance in the markets
  • Manage Performance and Effectiveness of the Coffee Production planning activities
  • Highlight performance gaps and detail impact of proposed actions and trade-offs
  • Manage and coach team for professional growth and ensure completion of PDP, including talent assessment
What will make you successful

 

  • University Degree/Diploma in Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance (business planning/Dynamic forecasting) or Mathematics. Engineer or Master Degree level required
  • Strong negotiation skills, stakeholder management, project and trade-off management
  • Five or more years of relevant operational experience at market / factory / business level in at least one of the following areas

           - Demand & Supply Planning

           - Project Management in the area of DSP

  • Team management experience (around 10 people)
  • Preliminary experience with SAP/APO
  • Good knowledge of supply chain KPIs (demand plan accuracy, stock cover, stock availability, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills
  • Fluent in English, other language is a plus
