Position Summary
For our Supply Chain department, we are looking for a Supply Chain Intern reporting to Factories Planning Manager for Coffee. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to stock cover optimization and gain hands-on experience in project management.
You will work closely with the Nespresso Factories, the Nespresso Packaging suppliers, and the Production & MRP Planners supporting them on execution of projects aimed at optimizing stocks and workload. As a Supply Chain Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop skills in areas such as project management, supplier relationship management, and process improvement. This experience we would like to give you the opportunity to see how the Continuous Improvement Project Plans are built and executed.
A Day in the Life of a Supply Chain Intern
- Project Management & Continuous Improvement for Nespresso
- Inventory Management for Packaging Materials
- Implement new ways of working to optimize packaging stocks & workload for Nespresso
- Work in close collaboration with Production & MRP planners, Suppliers, Procurement, Logistics, Finance and other supply chain colleagues
What will make you successful
- Master’s degree ideally in Supply Chain, Engineering, Project Management or any related fields
- Previous experience in supply chain and/or project management is a plus
- Project management competences and strong organizational skills would be a plus
- Exceptional ability to communicate ideas/point of view in a clear/concise way
- Strong autonomy and the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills
- High expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerBI
- SAP knowledge would be a plus
- Fluency in English and in French both written and spoken, any other European languages would be a plus
