We are currently looking for a Detailed Production Scheduling Planner (DPS Planner) to join our Balıkesir Factory team.
Location: Balıkesir
Type of contract: Permanent
As a DPS Planner, you will have the following responsibilities;
- Working with the operations planner and the production team to create the most effective production plans in line with market demand considering plant efficiencies and customer service.
- Maintain, promote and develop high health and safety standards and to carry out all duties and specific responsibilities in compliance with Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Using the APO (Advanced Planner and Optimizer) system create MPS (Master Production Schedule) and DPS (Detailed Production Scheduling) in line with market requirements respecting plant constraints and considering the best cycles to protect plant performance whilst achieving a high level of customer service.
- Agree DPS (Detailed Production Scheduling) plan with production team, publish and monitor adherence to plan
- Manage process in the execution horizon using a daily planning cycle
- React to changes in both supply and demand to realign or reprioritize the plan to minimize supply risks
- Liaise with the MRP planners to ensure material availability will not impact production plans and work with them towards the best resolution to protect customer service in case of shortage
- To be an active participant in the Planning Team, providing suggestions, information and guiding indicators on issues such as plant capacity and utilization and assisting the Operations Planner with information and reports as required
- Contribute to key meeting reviews as required – DOR (Daily Operations Review), MPR (Monthly Production Review) / market DSR’s (Demand & Supply Review) / SC WOR (Supply Chain Weekly Operations Review).
- Ensure smooth implementation of I2L (Idea to Launch), protecting COF (Customer Order Fulfillment) and minimizing write off
- To seek continuous improvement opportunities within the planning scope
- To provide holiday cover for other members of the Planning team as required.
- Carry out other duties within the Planning Department which contribute to the overall success of the factory site as directed by the Operations Planner
- Support NCE (Nestlé Continuous Excellence)/LEAN initiatives
- Ensure all planning Master Data are checked and updated regularly
- Regularly review production cycles, lot sizes and other constraints in consultation with production team
- Ensure trials and other required downtime is reflected correctly in APO (Advanced Planner and Optimizer)
- Ensure reporting and analysis of relevant KPIs, e.g. APP (Adherence to Production Plan)
- Maintain housekeeping to ensure no old orders are in the system
Which profile are we looking for?
- University degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or related departments
- Relevant and successful operational experience at LRD / LRM level in at least one of the following areas: Demand & Supply Planning; Manufacturing; Inbound Material Management; Production Planning.
- Relevant operational experience as a Production Planner in a central organization
- Relevant operational experience at market/plant level in the following areas is beneficial: LEAN, Continuous Excellence; Finance: business planning, budget control, cost management; Transport; Procurement Operations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Excellent command of English
- Living in Balıkesir or willing to move to Balıkesir
