We are currently looking for a Quality & Assurance Laboratory Specialist to join our Balıkesir Factory team.
Location: Balıkesir
Type of contract: Permanent

As a Quality & Assurance Specialist, you will have the following responsibilities;

• Ensure quality department activities are fully aligned with Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) local regulations and corporate initiatives
• Lead the operators to ensure correct competencies in place to deliver expected results on time
• Responsible to perform the required verification analysis of raw material
• Implement yearly Due Diligence Analytical Plan and crop assessment plan according to Nestle standards
• Follow Quality (Q) performance of suppliers through QP notification and ensure improvement is in place on year basis with internal stakeholders
• Support Quality Assurance department on SAP VAM/AVL Coordination
• Proper implementation and regular update of the laboratory quality system in accordance with the Nestle Laboratory Instructions and Nestle standards
• Application of Nestle Purina daily sensory panel according to Nestle standards
• Responsible for the cost-efficient functioning of the analysis, and availability of equipment (NIR) to carry out analyses
• Validate and establish validation dossiers for new and existing methods according to Nestlé validation standards
• Select, organize and follow up analyses performed by subcontracted labs
• Measure operator performance and accuracy of rapid method equipment used in production area.
• Perform Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) Self-Assessment for factory laboratories
• Conduct performance tests for factory laboratory and responsible for the adequate follow-up on results of proficiency tests with performing root cause analysis in case of poor results and apply corrective action
• Ensure raw and packaging materials analysis conducted in line with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and monitoring plans
• Responsible of releasing raw and packaging material which received to factory SAP stock
• Ensure raw and packaging material traceability in quality entries
• Create Quality Info Records for approved materials/vendors/vendor sites
• Supporting external warehouse GMP audits and support integrated pest management (IPM) principles are applied in warehouse

Which profile are we looking for?
 

• Bachelor’s degree in Food & Chemistry Engineering/Veterinary/Microbiology/Chemistry or Agriculture
• Excellent command of English
• Minimum 2 years of Quality Assurance job experience
• Laboratory experience in performing analyses in the specific area of competence
• Experience in Pest Management, Release, Good Laboratory Practices and Sensory Methods
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Living in Balıkesir or willing to move to Balıkesir
