We are currently looking for a Temporary RM & Vendor Assessment Specialist to join our Balıkesir Factory team. 
Location: Balıkesir 
Type of contract: Temporary (2 years) 
As a RM & Vendor Assessment Specialist, you will have the following responsibilities; 

• Support Raw Material & Vendor Quality Supervisor in developing quality roadmap & objectives in this area. Responsible for monitoring its enforcement by tracking relevant key performance indicators. 

• Promote Quality awareness / communication program in ensuring that every employee influence Quality and trust through leadership, dedication and passion.  

• Communicate, supervise and enforce Nestlé Quality Management System requirements within category specific Balıkesir Factory vendors under her/his responsibilities. 

• Raw material vendor batch production planned and completed, approved for Quality and food safety compliance.  

• Raw material vendor site audits planned, performed in frame.  

• Support on raw material food safety risk management given to all stakeholders.  

• Support in the ingredient sample management process, sample preparation, sample shipment, lab order preparation.  

• Coordinating with suppliers to obtain necessary documentation for vendor creation.  

• Liaising with the procurement administrative assistant to facilitate the documentation process.  

• Supporting audit activities and actively participating in supplier meetings. 

• Collecting and documenting information for shared files. Requesting samples from suppliers and preparing them for dispatch to laboratories both in Turkey and internationally. 

• To assist in Quality continuous improvement initiatives to achieve First Time Right in a no waste environment for all raw materials delivered to Balıkesir Factory 

• Monitor quality performance in vendors to advise for opportunities to improve in the quest for zero defect in vendor management.  

• Assist to the Management Review of Quality process for the vendors management activities under her/his responsibility.  

Which profile are we looking for? 
 

• Bachelor’s degree in food or chemistry engineering 

• Strong communication skills in English  

• Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant area  

• Having experience in vendor and factory audits 

• Having a good knowledge of food regulations and international standards 

• Structured and detail-oriented approach to inspection, reporting and quality standards definition 

• Confident using SAP, Food Safety and Quality Management Tools. 

• Able to travel frequently 

• Living in Balıkesir or willing to move to Balıkesir
