The role
Cyber and Digital Security Specialist – SAP: Under the supervision and guidance of their primary Community of Practice Lead and Product Group Manager, the Cyber and Digital Security Specialist – SAP is responsible for establishing and maintaining security products, platforms and solutions designed to mitigate Digital IT risks across the Group to ensure that information assets are adequately protected. This position will bring deep expertise in the Infrastructure Security & Data Protection Product in the context of SAP Security. It will address existing and new technologies, establish new frameworks and continuously improve existing ones, while managing the more complex areas of the platform in regards to security. It will also support projects, architectural assessments, deployments and sustain activities across the lifecycle of solutions.
What you’ll do

Ensures new products, platforms and solutions are implemented "Secure & Compliant by Design".

Works closely with Enterprise Architects, other functional area architects and other Security Specialists to ensure adequate security solutions are in place throughout all IT products and platforms to mitigate identified risks sufficiently and to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Understands and interacts with related disciplines to ensure the consistent application of policies and standards across all product groups; technology projects and systems, including, but not limited to, privacy, risk management, compliance and business continuity management.

Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of architectural designs, identifying potential security gaps, vulnerabilities, and threats. Develop mitigation strategies and work closely with stakeholders to implement necessary security controls.

Identify and mitigate SAP security risks and vulnerabilities.

Ensure SAP systems comply with relevant security standards and regulations.

Respond to and support in resolving security incidents and breaches.

Work with IT teams and stakeholders to implement SAP security solutions.

Develop and/or review frameworks, standards, guidelines, controls and documentation to support security aspects of relevant SAP areas.

Ensure current and new solutions are secure by design, supporting Architecture Review meetings and other relevant processes.

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in IT Security .
• SAP Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP systems, including SAP BASIS, ECC, HANA etc. and relevant security aspects
• Proficiency in configuring and managing SAP security tools and technologies..
• Certification in corresponding security fields. Relevant certifications such as SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Security Architect or similar.
• Experience in Audits, Risk assessment and Remediation planning/delivery and monitoring.
• Understanding and knowledge of IS/IT standards and controls.
• Experience working in a global international environment with virtual teams.
Bonus Points If You:

Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO 27001, ITIL, PCI and understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements. E.g. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.

Ability to act calmly and competently in high-pressure, high-stress situations
