Position Snapshot:
- Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
- Type of Contract: Permanent
- Grade: Band 2
- Type of work: Hybrid

The Role:
As a Microsoft Dynamics Technology Expert, you will bring strong technical expertise across Dynamics 365 to help ensure that our solutions are implemented, enhanced, and maintained in line with Microsoft best practices and Nespresso’s technology standards. Working closely with the Microsoft Dynamics Platform Lead, you will play a key role in translating business needs into technically sound solutions, while supporting the ongoing delivery and operational stability of critical business capabilities.
You will contribute to designing and optimizing technical components, performing root cause analysis for production incidents, implementing upgrade-safe extensions, and helping ensure that solutions remain compliant, secure, and aligned with enterprise guidelines.
Operating at the forefront of our platform, you will also contribute to early-stage technical analysis, define detailed technical specifications, and support operational readiness and solution quality across environments. This role benefits from strong analytical thinking, technical depth, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a large and complex enterprise ecosystem.
In This Role, You Will:
- Implement, troubleshoot, and optimize Dynamics 365 CE and F&O technical components, including extensions, data entities, batch jobs, plugins, event handlers, forms, and classes.
- Analyze production issues using structured debugging and diagnostic tools (LCS, logs, trace parsers), perform root cause analysis, and deliver sustainable technical solutions.
- Support and validate integration behavior by diagnosing async/sync failures, reviewing logs, and helping ensure accurate and consistent data flows across systems.
- Apply technical configurations and code updates to support business rules, operational needs, and compliance requirements across multiple functional areas.
- Contribute to environment readiness by validating deployments, supporting regression testing, and helping ensure DEV/TEST/UAT environments remain stable and aligned before production releases.
- Review existing customizations to identify hard-coded logic, divergent implementations, or non-standard patterns that may benefit from refactoring or simplification.
- Document technical findings, specifications, and alignment gaps to support clarity and long-term maintainability of Dynamics components.
- Collaborate with product teams and technical stakeholders to help resolve complex technical challenges.
What We’re Looking For:
- Hands-on development experience in Dynamics 365 CE (Dataverse, plugins, JavaScript, workflows, PCF) and F&O (X++, extensions, tables, classes, forms).
- Experience with data entities and batch processing, including creation, customization, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Integration experience using REST APIs, OData, DMF, JSON/XML, async queues, and an understanding of real-time vs. asynchronous patterns.
- Debugging and diagnostic skills using LCS Monitoring, trace logs, plug-in trace logs, Visual Studio debugger, and environment-level logs.
- Familiarity with upgrade-safe development practices, including extension patterns (CE & F&O) and Microsoft best-practice customization approaches.
- Understanding of environment and ALM concepts, including solution layers (CE), managed/unmanaged solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and DEV/TEST/UAT lifecycle processes.
- Understanding of data models, including the ability to analyze entity relationships, dependencies, and the impact of customizations across modules.
- Basic SQL and Azure integration knowledge, supporting troubleshooting of data issues and familiarity with Logic Apps/Service Bus.
- A strong analytical and problem-solving approach, with the ability to investigate issues across functional and technical layers, propose sustainable solutions, and document clearly.
Extra Skills That Set You Apart:
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Commerce (Retail/POS) or exposure to omnichannel operational flows.
- Understanding of CRM/Customer Service (CE) technical components such as plugins, cases, routing, or automation.
- Knowledge of Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus) or basic SQL for deeper data analysis and troubleshooting.
We Offer You:
We offer more than just a job. We put people first and inspire you to become the best version of yourself.
- Flexible work policies including core hours and options for working from home. Discuss with us during the recruitment process to understand what flexibility could look like for you!
