To complete our IT Platforms department, we are currently looking for a Solution Architect – Monitoring what matters platform (MwM)
The Monitoring what matters Architect is responsible to enforce architecture and design principles for our IT Monitoring platform. MWM is critical to provide an all-encompassing view of the health of the most critical IT services and associated critical business KPIs.
You work closely with Product Teams across the organization to understand business requirements, design the solutions architecture, and supervise the implementation of secure, resilient and scalable solutions.
Key responsibilities
- You design and implement the Monitoring what matters platform architecture to meet business requirements
- You supervise the implementation of new monitoring solutions, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget and meet the organization's needs in compliance with the “Clean Core” approach
- You create the Monitoring what matters platform technical architecture documentation (e.g. building blocks)
- You identify and mitigate technical risks associated with the implementation of new Monitoring what matters solutions, and develop contingency plans as needed
- You stay up to date with the latest Monitoring technologies and trends and provide technical mentorship and support to other teams within the organization
- You will participate in the Nestlé S/4HANA transformation program, where impact on Monitoring what matters platform is identified
- Together with the MwM Product Owner you steer consumption, usage and management of Monitoring what matters on an ongoing basis
- You actively participate in Architecture Review Meetings that involve Monitoring what matters
- Together with the MwM Product Owner, you own the product strategy & vision and oversee implementation
Are you a fit? You should meet most criteria of the list below:
- 8+ years of professional experience in SAP Architecture or Monitoring platforms Architecture
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge & experience in functional and technical application design, data modelling, and preferably also experience with implementation/developing of applications using low-code/no-code platforms as well as modern languages like Python.
- Sound and practical knowledge of platform operations in the area of Windows, Linux, Cloud Services (Azure, AWS, Google), Networking (WAN, LAN, Wifi, Loadbalancing), SAP Platforms, PaaS and SaaS solutions
- knowledge and experience with ITSM processes
- High level of experience with Monitoring platforms and a proven track record of delivery in a global organization
- Ability to translate future-state business capabilities and requirements into technical solution architecture requirements
- Ability to quickly comprehend and assess the capabilities of new technologies
- Ability to validate the financial impact of technology architecture alternatives
- Very good communication skills and ability to convince stakeholders
- Open Group TOGAF Architecture certification is a plus
- Effectively communicates in English at different levels in the organization in a global environment
