We are looking for someone with hands on experience of implementing the UKG Pro Time Management solution with expert knowledge of what the solution can deliver as well as some exposure to SuccessFactors Time Tracking/Time Off and SAP Time Management Solution. The candidate should have effective communication skills, both with dealing with team members in the Markets as well as IT Product Team Members globally. This requires a level of being able to adjust their communication style from being very technical to being able to translate technical attributes to business needs. The candidate will need to have 7+ years of implementing and working hands on with UKG Pro as well as some experience on either or both SF Time Tracking/Time Off and SAP Time in order to join our ITHR Regional Team based in Bangalore.

The role:

The product owner is responsible for managing and prioritizing the backlog, incidents and requests for UKG Pro, SAP Time management, SF Time Tracking and local Time Tracking and Time Off solutions. The role also is responsible for revising all local time management applications to identify the ones having potential to become global or decommissioned & replaced by the global. This role is based in Bangalore and has fantastic career development opportunities within Bangalore or as part of a global IT Organisation with career advancement possible in the Time Management solution areas or partner areas across Payroll and HR Core.

 

What you’ll do:

 

As a Product Owner for Time Management, you will have the following activities.  

 

  • Establish a Regional Product Roadmap in line with Global Strategy, product vision and directions, including managing product backlog and defining projects in agreement with the Zone Functional Relationship Manager and Global Product Team
  • Partners with business and IS/IT to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements, pain points or opportunities into IS/IT requirements. This requires close working relationships with the Global Product Owner and Product Manager to facilitate both strategy and innovation planning.
  • Ensures smooth IT run operations by ensuring tickets are being handled according to the best practices and meeting the defined KPIs. This will include coordinating with the offshore team activities and ensures that the team has the good knowledge to perform their activities independently.
  • Ensure all applications under the Time Management IT scope meet the Nestlé Security & Compliance requirements. This would also include working closely with suppliers to ensure the timely closure of compliance gaps where applicable.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in IT and business/industry, including experience in working with IS/IT Operational Partners and increasing leadership responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing standard processes and managing performance to achieve key metrics as well as applying continuous improvement principles into the ways of working
  • Works and adjusts styles to be able to self manage independently but ask for assistance where clarity or assistance is required.
  • Works effectively and excels in a team environment both onsite and working remotely with a multicultural team based across Oceania, Asia and Africa.
  • Experience in effective communication at different level in the organization and in English.
