RELEASE LOCALIZATOR AND CONFIGURATION SPECIALIST

 

 

We are looking for a Release Localizator and Configuration Specialist to be part of our Nestlé Nespresso Digital and Tech Team. At Nespresso, our Digital & Tech teams are at the heart of our innovation journey, a space where we continue to invest, evolve, and grow.

The Role:

 

The Localizator and Configuration Specialist is responsible for supporting configuration processes and requirements for product and project teams. This role involves using dedicated tools and established processes to ensure timely completion of requests without delays.

The role includes conducting risk analyses and developing plans to enhance localization and configuration processes, as well as implementing improvements and automation initiatives to streamline operations.

The Localizator and Configuration Specialist demonstrates a strong understanding of release and configuration processes and acts as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for technical and process-related inquiries. The role collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams to support configuration activities across the organization.

This position also engages in continuous improvement initiatives, seeking innovative solutions that align tools and processes with the DevOps framework, and provides configuration support on demand for release and rollout projects.

                                                                       

 

In This Role, You Will:

 

  • Provide expertise and support for localization management using Localizator/Propman properties (application translations).
  • Act as the Configuration Localizator SPOC, providing properties for release and patch go-lives into production, as well as for lower environments.
  • Serve as a configurator with full control of the Propman tool in development environments.
  • Collaborate with other teams, such as Database teams, to perform required activities.
  • Add new keys, delete obsolete keys, and update or remove existing translation values as needed.
  • Handle modification requests originating from both release-related and non-release activities (such as rollout projects).
  • Create SQL scripts and execute them in the Localizator DEV environment using SQL Developer.
  • Commit changes to the Localizator repository and build new releases using Jenkins.
  • Work with Jira tickets and tasks related to deployment requests (to Localizator VST/Prod) and debugging activities.
  • Support the resolution of tickets for testing, development, and project teams.
  • Communicate changes related to tools and processes clearly and proactively.
  • As part of the configuration team, support release and rollout projects by following established configuration processes.
  • Contribute as a member of the configuration and release community to the successful delivery of projects.

 

 

What We’re Looking For:

 

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in localization and configuration Management
  • Deep understanding of release and configuration processes
  • Strong working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tolos
  • Ability to act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC)
  • Attention to detail with a quality-first mindset

 

 

Extra Skills That Set You Apart:

 

  • Experience with automation and process improvement initiatives
  • Familiarity with global or multi-market rollout projects
  • Experience working in large, distributed delivery teams
