RELIABILITY ENGINEER - ECOMMERCE SOLUTIONS
We are looking for a Reliability Engineer to be part of our Nestlé Nespresso Digital and Tech Team.
Position Snapshot:

The Role:
By joining Nestlé Nespresso Digital and Tech Team, you will be working on the technology powering the Nespresso eCommerce business. You will work in a direct-to-customer context with significant volumes and traffic and a very rich feature offering, being part of a large engineering organization with direct impact to the online business.
As a Reliability Engineer for eCommerce Solutions, you will be part of the team whose focus is on enhancing the performance and reliability of our new eCommerce solution based on commercetools.
In This Role, You Will:
- Be part of the change process for eCommerce Solutions by:
- Collaborating with development teams during the eCommerce change process to ensure that all observability requirements are met and functioning correctly prior to the deployment in production.
- Reviewing and approving the deployment process of changes in production.
- Conducting sanity tests post-deployment to validate changes.
- Be part of the incident response process by:
- Acting as a layer 3 support for incidents escalated from layer 2 teams.
- Troubleshooting incidents to determine if development changes are required and assign tasks to the appropriate development teams.
- Managing complex configurations and providing solutions for service restoration.
- Participating in an on-call 24x7 team roster to collaborate in case of major incidents (activity to be started after an onboarding period).
- Conduct deep troubleshooting and root cause analysis after major incidents.
- Shape the future of eCommerce Solutions by:
- Analyzing observability data and incident reports to identify weaknesses in the eCommerce solution.
- Proposing improvements and optimizations based on data-driven insights and trends.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements that improve solution reliability.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (4+ years) in a reliability engineering role, preferably within eCommerce or SaaS environments.
- Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Akamai mPulse, and Dynatrace.
- Strong understanding of headless architecture and API integrations.
- Experience in TypeScript and frontend technologies such as React.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a virtual team environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

- Used to work under pressure during incidents: stay focused, prioritize the resolution of incident.
- Experience working in international, cross-functional teams with Agile methodologies.
