RELIABILITY ENGINEERING TEAM COORDINATOR - ECOMMERCE SOLUTIONS

 

We are looking for a Coordinator of the Reliability Engineering team for eCommerce Solutions to be part of our Nestlé Nespresso Digital and Tech Team.

The Role:

 

By joining Nestlé Nespresso Digital and Tech Team, you will be working on technology powering the Nespresso eCommerce business.You will work in a direct-to-customer context with significant volumes and traffic and a very rich feature offering, being part of a large engineering organization with direct impact on the online business.

 

As a Reliability Engineers' team coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the team's performance and quality of the work, facilitating collaboration among team members and cross-teams coordination, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and up-to-date status reports.

 

 

In This Role, You Will:

 

  • Coordinate daily activities and workflows of the Reliability Engineers team, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring alignment with priorities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding team activities and incidents status.
  • Actively/Proactively leading incident response from detection to resolution.
  • Manage schedules for incident response and ensure timely resolution of issues escalated to the team.
  • Define and monitor Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) to ensure performance and reliability targets are met.
  • Track progress on proactive improvement proposals and ensure implementation aligns with strategic goals.
  • Prepare and present reports on team performance, incident management, and improvement initiatives to senior management.
  • Lead post-incident review sessions, ensuring root cause analyses are completed, documented, and translated into actionable improvements. 
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the team's operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and enhance the reliability of the eCommerce solution.
  • Support the development of training materials and sessions for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

 

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years)  in a reliability engineering role, preferably within eCommerce or SaaS environments, and in a team coordination role (2+ years).
  • Proficiency with incident management tools such as ServiceNow and tracking tools such as Jira.
  • High knowledge of monitoring tools such as Grafana, Akamai mPulse, and Dynatrace.
  • Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles and practices, particularly in eCommerce or SaaS contexts.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong English communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
