MOBILE QA LEAD

We are looking for a Mobile QA Lead to be part of our Nestlé Nespresso Digital and Tech Team. At Nespresso, our Digital & Tech teams are at the heart of our innovation journey, a space where we continue to invest, evolve, and grow.

The Role:

As a Mobile QA Lead, you will be working on the mobile technology powering the Nespresso business, both on eCommerce and IoT landscapes. You will work in a direct-to-customer context with significant volumes and traffic and a very rich feature offering, being part of a large development organization with direct impact to the online business.

As a Mobile QA Lead, you will be responsible for defining how the delivery teams will apply the QA and testing strategy to ensure the quality and reliability of our mobile applications, with a strong focus on test automation framework. You will work closely to cross-functional delivery teams, to ensure the adoption of the QA and testing practices and with Release and DevOps teams to streamline the release cycle and improve the overall quality of our mobile applications.

In This Role, You Will:

• Collaborate on the definition and updates of the QA and testing strategy for Nespresso mobile applications, by close relationship with the QA office and QA Community of Practice.
• Ensure that the QA and testing strategy for Nespresso mobile applications is properly applied by all multi-disciplinary teams delivering Nespresso mobile applications.
• Facilitate the adoption of the shift-left approach for Quality in Nespresso.
• Mentor and guide QA engineers and developers, providing technical expertise and support in test automation.
• Provide metrics on QA practices adoption by the multi-disciplinary teams delivering Nespresso mobile applications, setting improvement plans in collaboration with them.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in mobile application testing and test automation.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of mobile application testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Proven experience as an Automation Test Lead or similar role, specifically in mobile application testing.
• Proficiency in using automation testing tools/frameworks, such XCTest for iOS, Espresso for Android and Browserstack as device farm platform.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for mobile applications.
• Proven experience using Gherkin, Xray and CharlesProxy.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Effectively communicates in English at different levels in the organization.
