6+ years of relevant experience in Process Engineering, Manufacturing, or Capital Projects in Petfood or Food manufacturing

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

  • Provide Process Expertise in Manufacturing and Design for Dry Petfood
  • Provide technical expertise and assistance to NPP AOA factories and projects groups.
  • Provide guidance and process mastership for important and complex projects as assigned and actively drive them to completion.
  • Requirements include, but are not limited to:
    • Demonstrate effective project leadership by creating and motivating a cross-functional, occasionally international project team.
    • Demonstrate effective problem solving capabilities to support factories with requied expertise and network.
    • Collaborate with all TCU support functions and use the global Petcare / Nestlé  Expert Network to ensure best practice.
    • Strictly adhere to the value chain development process and the Corporate I2L tool. Track and report the KPI's for each development phase.      
    • Conduct and document factory and project gate control visits.
    • Develop technical Standards , URSs, UOSs
  • Support, plan, organize and perform trials and experiments in the factory necessary to achieve brief objectives in a timely manner.
  • Provide operational and “technical” training as required within project and per market request.

 

ARE YOU A FIT?

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Engineering, or other related engineering fields.
  • At least 6 years of professional experience , of which 3 years relate to technology transferrable to pet food.  
  • Proven professional experience in factory operations, major capital project, engineering application group.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply principles of mass, momentum, and heat transfer to process and equipment design, including concept and detail design.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Self-starter mindset with a passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and delivering business results.
  • Comfortable working in a multicultural and regional environment with occasional travel requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
