A DAY IN THE LIFE...
- Provide consultation to all stakeholders and colleagues about Import regulations, tariff & import duty and all related import procedures for good business decision making and ensure supply according to the BEM/BU's launch targets and agreed timelines.
- Act as a contact person of producing markets, 3rd party Suppliers, Logistics service providers for all Import activities including Claim/Complaints, Refund, etc.
- Responsible for the correctness of all shipping documents including FTA privilege forms, GMP/HACCP/ISO Certificates, required declaration letter, grace letter, etc. that will be required for customs clearing process.
- Ensure FDA registration be available and provide to service provider as well as updated in License Per Invoice (LPI) system before import products.
- Responsible for Import entry including correct HS code, import duty, excite tax, interior tax, royalty fee, privilege under AFTA, WTO, Bank guarantee, etc. (if any), via paperless with double signatory, coordinate with accounting team for duty and VAT reservation for cut e-banking and payment to customs on time in order to avoid any delay in customs clearing process and delivery.
- Understand and manage well on the process of protest/appeal for any uncertain issues including any disputes, follow up and manage duty refund / duty drawback and close the issue within specific lead time with proper record.
ARE YOU A FIT?
- 3-7 years of work experience in Importing operation from food industry.
- Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry experience would be a plus.
- Good English and Thai communication skills
