  • Minimum 5 years' working experience in Import/Export or Supply chain management, especially exporting finished good

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE...

  • Establish a feasible 3-4 weeks Load Plans reference to 78 weeks Dispatch Plans delivering planned delivery and arrival dates for receiving markets (IMS receivers. Collaborate with Regional Supply Planners, DPS Planners and Factory Logistic to ensure stocks are available for planning/execution by forwarders and shipping lines.
  • Load plans are established respecting the deployment strategy (Push) for all markets to eliminate any stock holding in Export DC, where stocks are produced based on production MOQ. In exception case, coordinate share production MOQ or consolidation of SKUs due to production frequency for smaller markets.
  • Collaborate with Demand & Supply Planners in the markets to drive full supply availability to achieve COF in the markets by participating in WOR. Provide weekly actual shipment advise to all receiving markets with clear actions for recovery for any delays.
  • Drive flawless execution of shipments and ensure on time communication in collaboration with factory warehouse, forwarder and shipping lines.
  • Propose prioritization in case of constraints for execution and create visibility for stakeholders to make decision.
  • Identify possible opportunities and improvements in collaboration within regional team and factory team to achieve highest dispatch/shipment attainment with optimized lead-time. Work closely with GLP (Global Logistic Procurement) in case of escalation for support. Ensure every shipment is companied with accurate and timely documentations.
  • Lead IMS complaint management with receiving markets, forwarders, shipping lines and factory.
  • Lead WOR for IMS export performance review, issue management and escalations with close engagement with 3rd party forwarders.
  • Participate in the discussion with markets to define the right stock cover policy together with Regional Supply Planners. Ensure the markets maintained correct transit lead time, deployment strategy, load profiles (container size, type) and etc. Drive correctness of DRP/SNP Master Data & adhere to weekly planning cycle using SAP/APO.
  • Collaborate with Event Coordinator to ensure I2L and events are considered in load and dispatch planning. Work on prioritization within region, markets and factory. Lead coordination of trial shipments and regulatory documentations (GSI sign off) where applicable.
  • Same coordination is required for export to new geographies, especially for SKUs consolidation and documentation.
  • Support the preparation for Regional MAR (Detail Execution) by collaborating within region, factory and market teams. Ensure usage of standard reporting and analytics tools and dashboards. This include KPIs and outlook like Export WH utilization, stock cover and freshness (aging stocks).

 

ARE YOU A FIT?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, International Business or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years’ work experience in Supply Chain and Customer Service in manufacturing or any other industry
  • Experience in import/export or shipping industry, with knowledge of Laws & Regulations related to export/import businesses such as customs law, tariff and duty, excise and revenue taxes, FDA, Department of Livestock Development Regulation, would be an advantage
  • Excellent command of Thai & English
  • Intermediate-advanced computer skills (i.e. MS-Office programs)
  • Basic understanding of supply chain processes (particularly Import, Export, Demand & Supply Planning)     
  • Strong project management, logical thinking, negotiation, problem solving and leadership skills with excellent service mind
