A DAY IN THE LIFE …
- Lead and drive Category Maintenance strategy for Petfood manufacturing across multiple factories within the AOA region.
- Develop and deploy best-in-class Category Maintenance Packages (CMPs/MEPs) to improve maintenance effectiveness and asset performance.
- Optimize maintenance strategies, enhance equipment reliability, and eliminate operational losses through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as the regional maintenance expert, providing technical support, coaching, and troubleshooting expertise to factory engineering and maintenance teams.
- Lead maintenance governance and ensure compliance with Nestlé maintenance standards, safety requirements, and engineering best practices.
- Drive predictive maintenance, CMMS excellence, and digital maintenance initiatives to improve maintenance efficiency and asset lifecycle management.
- Partner with factories, regional engineering teams, suppliers, and technical stakeholders to deliver sustainable maintenance performance improvements.
- Build maintenance capabilities by providing training, knowledge sharing, and continuous development programs across the network.
- Support Manufacturing Excellence, NCE/TPM deployment, and safety initiatives to strengthen operational performance and continuous improvement culture.
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Engineering, or related engineering disciplines.
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience of which 3 years relate to technology transferrable to pet food, including experience in maintenance management, manufacturing operations, engineering, or capital project environments.
- Experience in FMCG, Food & Beverage, Petfood, or other process manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems, reliability engineering, predictive maintenance, and asset performance improvement.
- Proven experience in root cause analysis, problem solving, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional and cross-regional initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, influence, and develop engineering and maintenance teams.
- Self-starter with strong initiative, curiosity, and passion for innovation, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Comfortable working in a multicultural regional environment and collaborating with stakeholders across different markets.
