A DAY IN THE LIFE...

Main purpose of the job: Global Mobility Manager Inpats Payroll role is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of global mobility programs in line with policies, procedures, and guidelines. Additionally, this position provides support for inpatriate payroll processes. The role plays a crucial part in ensuring compliance with international tax and immigration regulations, while delivering exceptional service to employees on global assignments.

Global Mobility Program Management:

Ensure that all global mobility activities and inpats benefits administration align with established policies, procedures, and guidelines. 

• Collaborate with Market and Corporate Global Mobility stakeholders to ensure consistent policy interpretation, implementation, and deliverables. 

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of international assignments (incoming & outgoing), including immigration, tax, relocation, and assignment logistics. 

• Ensure compliance with local tax and immigration regulations in various countries. 

• Provide guidance and support to employees and managers regarding global mobility policies and processes. • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure smooth execution of global mobility programs.

Inpats Payroll Administration: 

• Manage and administer inpatriate payroll processes, including payroll calculations, tax withholding, and social security contributions. 

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of inpatriate payroll, in compliance with local regulations and internal policies. 

• Collaborate with HR and payroll service provider to resolve any payroll-related issues. 

• Maintain accurate employee records and documentation related to inpatriate payroll.

 

Compliance and Reporting: 

• Stay updated on international tax and immigration laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements. 

• Prepare and submit necessary reports and documentation to tax authorities and other relevant entities. 

• Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal policies and procedures. 

• Assist with internal and external audits related to global mobility and inpatriate payroll.

 

Employee Support and Communication: 

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees on global assignments, addressing their queries and concerns. 

• Communicate global mobility policies, processes, and updates to employees and managers. 

• Conduct pre-assignment briefings and post-assignment debriefings to ensure a smooth transition for employees.

 

ARE YOU A FIT?

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Finance, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience in global mobility management and inpatriate payroll administration. 
  • Strong knowledge of international tax and immigration regulations. 
  • Familiarity with payroll systems and processes. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Effective communication (Thai & English) and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. 
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools, such as SAP
