Description of Internship

 

As part of the Central Ecommerce team at Nestle Purina, the Assistant Key Account Manager (KAM) Ecommerce will be part of the Sales Ecommerce Team managing Centrally Managed (EMENA Region) Customers like Amazon and Zooplus. The work scope consist on assisting the team on operational tasks across the main Generating Demand drivers. This include E-Content, Activations, Assortment and Promotion Management.

 

During the internship the Assistant KAM will help and be hands-on in completing on-demand tasks to develop and implement the annual customer plan. A big part of the required daily duties are the close monitoring of agreed activities, assisting on post-evaluation of portfolio and promotional activities and to prepare e-Content for the customer.

Requirements

 

  • Recent graduate with a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or similar field.
  • High level of English.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Experienced with Excel.
  • Good understanding of eCommerce and Digital.
  • Candidate must be proactive, enthusiastic and very eager to learn.
  • Must be able to work well within a team, as well as being able to work independently.
  • Able to keep track and manage own tasks and deadlines and remain focused under pressure
  • We offer Flexibility:
    • Available to work from Monday to Friday, 40h/week in our Purina Studios office in Esplugues (Barcelona).
    • Available to work 20h from Monday to Friday, in our Purina Studios office in Esplugues (Barcelona). Agreed beforehand. 
What Could you Expect from this Experience?

 

During your internship you will become an integral member of the Purina Studios Ecommerce & Digital team of more than 20 Ecommerce and Digital multi-national professionals. You will be provided with this highly regarded opportunity and have the advantage to be able to see and learn first-hand how to manage centrally organized ecommerce customers and digital brand building. The Digital Operations department and Purina Studios operates within one of the biggest companies in the world.

 

From day one you will be co-managing the biggest ecommerce petfood customer we have at Purina EMENA. You will learn how to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies based on in-depth customer and market knowledge and analysis. Within your assignment you will cooperate with the different areas across generating demand that make an annual plan successful. With your proactivity you will be able to understand how the different departments such as logistics, marketing, finance and sales work in FMCG to deliver common business objectives.

 

You will learn about ecommerce and digital strategy, increase your communication and management skills, and learn how to work efficiently in a high paced working environment. You will be able to build valuable skills which will help you create a solid base for your continued professional working career.
