Position Summary

To grow our Purina Studios Digital & e-Commerce team in Barcelona, we are looking for a Pricing Analyst. The person will help implementing Consumer Price Intelligence tool/platform & understand the consumer price dynamics across EMENA markets.

Main purpose of the Position

Further roll out & improve/optimize Consumer Price Intelligence tool/platform across EMENA - based on developments done for test market.

 

A day in the life of...

           Brand Pricing:

• Benchmark PURINA consumer prices vs competition to understand our competitiveness for existing products

• Contact point with central & local marketing & MDO teams to help them benchmark key innovations & renovations vs existing brands & products (PURINA or competition)

Format pricing:

Support central marketing & MDO teams to define right price points & formats to support an omni channel strategy.

Customer pricing:

• Understand & share with local & central teams key consumer price evolutions that might drive lower trade margin for our customers.

• Develop a trade margin tool using the input of the Consumer Price Intelligence tool/platform (focus on Zooplus & Amazon)

Promotional pricing:

• Do promotional strategy recommendations to optimize the incremental revenue of each brand & format

What Will Make You Successful?

Successful Candidate will have at least three of the following:

1. Experience in (understanding) scraping & data gathering technology

2. Strong with numbers & very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel

3. Experience of the FMCG market would be beneficial

4. Presentation & organizational skills would be beneficial

5. Passion, Trust, dealing with ambiguity, learning agility, curiosity and high levels of numeracy.
