Main purpose of the Position

 

As an EMENA Shopper Content Expert, you will be the functional expert who drives Branded Shopper content thinking, designed to help the markets win at the point of purchase. You will support the Head of Holistic Content by leading strategic brand shopper initiatives. Furthermore, you will lead and ensure we have effective communication and production agency relationships.

A day in the life of...

  • Partner with brand teams to create impactful branded Shopper Communication strategies and translate them into effective briefs to ensure business objectives are met
  •  Ensure shopper assets are fully integrated into holistic branded content, making it easier for markets to use and deploy locally respecting markets timing and customer requirements
  •  Partner with Head of Shopper to train Brand and Brand Content Managers on process and ways of working, including ensuring continuous improvement and best practice on briefing adaptation, creative development, production best practices and on essential elements required for project success
  •  Ensure Shopper assets are stored in Content Hub and Content Factory services are leveraged across markets to drive cost efficiencies and increase speed of executions
  •  Collaborate with Brand content managers to define the shopper communication plan across all brand activities ensuring the right touchpoints, including digital, are used to engage and entice shoppers
  •  Establish and maintain strong productive and collaborative partnerships with strategic shopper agencies, reviewing agencies performance and ensure developed content is aligned with agreed shopper marketing strategy

What Will Make You Successful?

  • University degree with a preference for a designation in Marketing
  •  At least 5 years’ commercial experience, ideally gained in Shopper marketing
  •  Previous customer facing role is mandatory
  •  Strong background of FMCG industry
  •  Exposure to a shopper marketing agency would be a plus
  •  Proven track record of driving large scale projects
  •  Fluent in written and spoken English, any other European language is an asset
