Main Purpose of Job                        
The Functional Relationship Manager (FRM) supports BRMs/ IT streams to decrease the complexity of collaboration between the Business and IT.
S/he Acts as principal contact between multiple Business Stakeholders (Function, Market etc.) and IT stakeholders through the products/platforms and services lifecycle.
S/he understands Business requirements and provides receivers with a consistent and effective experience in working with IT teams starting from the creation of  (multi-) platform roadmaps to deployments, sustain and up to elimination of functional legacy solutions. 
The FRM is accountable for the demand management processes within IT streams and works with the Product/Platform Owners/Managers to simplify Service offerings, and prioritize Market feature requirements.
This role particularly involves transparent communications, facilitatation of issue resolution, triggering escalations processes when required, a deep undestanding of the IT organisation, stakeholders and governance.

S/he represents the Business for IT and IT for the Business. 
 

Key Outputs:             
Relationship Management:

• Deep understanding of functional Business objectives, processes, governance and challenges. Strong relationships with Business key stakeholders
• Maintains same level of relationship within IT. Proactively shares the Business requirements/insights with IT, secures the required IT resources and brings the right capabilities/services to the table to ensure value creation for both: the Business and IT
• Leads regular interactions between both organisations to inform and maintain a continuing good relationship and a shared vision.              
Value delivery:

* Regularly attends the receivers meetings and becomes part of their extended functional team
*Makes the link between specific business objectives, activities, initiatives, projects or programs and IT in order to identify, forecast and deliver multi-product group integrated value.
* Direct engagements between business stakeholders and Product Managers / Product Group Managers to shape the products/platforms and services delivered. 
*Secures value delivery and sustain and helps to involve the Business in finding rapidly durable solutions for pain points in adopting the products
* Escalates items not getting appropriate attention including NBE approval, projects, and issues
* Works with product managers to ensure the business capabilities and business requirements are met in terms of integration of technical architecture across one or more product groups based on enterprise business strategy.
* Steers the integration and adoption of solutions between receiver and product / product group / platform roadmaps. Ensures the integration between mutiple products is driven to generate value for the receiver .
* Efficiently manage CAPEX/OPEX spent & Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)               
Risk management
• Maps and monitors dependencies across the various initiatives of the in-scope Product/Platform Groups and conducts proactive business impact analysis and risk assessment
• Creates mitigation plans and schedules cross product group coordination reviews to anticipate issues or resolve conflicts or problems.                
Governance:  
• Participates in the IT governance processes that enable prioritization across multiple options
• Accountable for demand management (where applicable)
• Supports the business governance processes  (e.g. automation that would remove business headcounts or drastically impact business ways of working)
• Input into the vendor/partners delivery scorecards (global vendors) or manage governance with local market vendors"                
Innovate/Deploy
* Leverage Partners where possible to ensure Nestle resources continue to focus on 'Business Value' generation
* Integrating 'Local' & 'Global' innovation initiatives that solve market business needs / problems by working closely with IT product groups
* Drive Local and Global Innovation alignment to avoid duplication
* Deploy available solutions leveraging partners to maximize return on investment"                
Support/Sustain
* Prioritizes issues and escalations on behalf of receivers
* Provide insight into business disruptions caused by major incidents (P1/P2) but also re-occuring incidents that creat business disruptions and unplanned outages.
* Coordinate crisis mangement and communication during P1/P2 situations
* Provide input into market impacting outage/releases/cutovers.
* Regular review of sustain performance (Incident, Requests, Changes), identify improvement areas and adress them to the Product Owners/Managers.
Security, Compliance & Risk Management:
• Accountable for ensuring all applications within their product/platform are delivered and maintained secure and compliant with internal standards and external regulations, including privacy requirements, Business Continuity Plans etc."

• Create the context: create alignment and the adoption of our IT Vision to Life (IT V2L), lead by example, promote an open culture and our values in a sustainable way, promote innovation and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Drive performance: empower and enable people, give and receive feedback, evaluate and differentiate performance, constantly challenge the set up organization to ensure its results and effectiveness.

Key Experiences: 
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably computer science or field related to the product 
• Demonstrated experience in a product based IT organization 
• 7+ years experience in IT (e.g. BA, PM, etc.)
• Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English
• Experience working in a global matrix environment and with virtual teams
