- Business Unit/Function: Legal

- Location: Beijing

- Act as the legal guardian of assigned businesses, assets, culture and value;

- Help the business unit grow faster and sustainably in China;

- Pragmatically and rigorously manage legal risk and opportunities;

- Provide timely, sound, effective, value adding and business unit-specific legal and business solutions.

- Provide legal services to ensure sound operation and minimization of legal risks, such as preparation of documents and provision of advices, reviewing label and marketing/sales promotion program, reviewing contracts, etc.

- Participate in corporate investment and restructuring projects, prepare legal documentation, and manage necessary regulatory approval, including: incorporation of new legal entities, merger and acquisition, liquidation, change of shareholders/shareholding ratio/registered capital/business scope, etc.

- Provide company secretarial services to designated legal entities in Mainland China; maintain company statutory and Board records

- Manage dispute resolution (settlement, arbitration and litigation) and government investigations

- Assist in ensuring corporate legal compliance in her/his respective area

- Assist in issues/crisis handling (product, consumer, government, media, public, etc.)

- Monitor China’s development in the legal field to ensure compliance and to prepare the company for the changes; legal advocacy to ensure company’s present and future interests are protected

- Provide training on important and relevant legal areas to Management and relevant units/functions

- At least 8 years legal related working experience in a law firm or multinational company preferably FMCG company

- Team player, flexible and committed, and able to work effectively in a matrix management environment and individually

- Understanding of FMCG industry and Nestle business operation
