Position Snapshot

- Business Unit/Function: Corporate Affairs

- Location: Beijing

Position Summary

- Build Nestlé’s reputation by proactively managing external stakeholders’ relations esp. media and KOLs

- Drive awareness of Nestlé’s role as a Force for Good, linked to our sustainability agenda by leveraging corporate media/PR events

- Act as company’s spokesperson and handle media inquires as appropriate

- Create a positive media environment for the company

A day in the life of...

- Overall media strategy development for Nestlé GCR at Corporate level
- Develop annual media/PR plan with a set of SMART designed measures and KPIs 
- Annual calendar development and performance tracking 
- Build and enhance media relations, both mainstream and social media, in line with company’s strategic and business priorities.  
- Support various business activities through targeted media and placements.  Ensure quality of the coverage in addition to of quantity.
- Act as media’s contact point and provide accurate information to media in a timely manner.  Act as internal counselor to corporate functions and relevant BUs on any PR/Media related questions or requests
- Anticipate and manage issues that pose a risk to Nestlé’s reputation. 
- Build and maintain a “live” media database.
- Select and manage PR agencies and performance tracking regularly

What will make you successful

- Bachelor’s degree or above in marketing, journalism, communications, business or related field

- Strong analytical, planning, forecasting and research skills

- Excellent communication and writing skills (both Chinese and English)

- A minimum 10 years of working experience preferably with PR agencies and MNCs.  Journalist’s background is a plus.
