Position Snapshot

For organizations in scope at NiM, manage benefits programs aligned with Corporate HR and CoC Guidance as well as compliance with local regulation in order to create competitive advantage and ensure that this will support the business in attracting, retaining, and motivating our talent accordingly.

Position Summary

Benefits work is a specialized area of Rewards focusing on benefits program design, management, and analysis including:

•Benefits program design (e.g., health and welfare, retirement, etc.)

•Benefits plan management (e.g., retirement, life insurance, short and long-term disability, accident coverage, medical/dental/vision/prescription drugs, job-related perquisites, etc.)

•Benefits coverage evaluation, benchmarking, and cost analysis

•Communication (e.g., guidance on benefit program features, plans, and options to employees and management)

•Vendor management (e.g., insurance and pension brokers, consultants for program design advice, etc.)

A day in the life of...
  • Acts as consultant for social security program in view of management
  • Understand market prevalent practices and employees' diversifited needs towards benefits program
  • Analyze benefits programs (medical, pension, welfare, short term/long term diability, accident etc.) competitiveness, assess benefits effectivieness, explore the opportunity for further improvement.
  • Manage vendors for effective implementation of benefits pragram, ensure the smooth and efficient process
  • Manage effective communications with employees about new/updated benefits program
  • Support Market to track the benefits costs.
  • Work with CSBs on benefits program design, and be consultant for CSBs related benefits program.
  • Analyze different benefits program across NiM and take into consideration of cost/management effeciency and talent attraction/retention.
  • Support  Talent Acquisition to contribute EVP & Employer Branding by developing & improvement benefits program and communication.
What will make you successful
  • University Degree level education or equivalent.
  • Experience in different HR areas of at least 4 to 5  years’ experience in Human Resources (C&B experience is a must).
  • Hands-on experience in Benefits management is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of local employment law & labor regulations and fiscal aspects affecting total rewards.
  • Strong knowledge of key benefits areas.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
