As a Junior Regulatory and Scientific Affairs Specialist you will keep up to date with regulatory requirements, implement action plans related to regulatory changes and communicate closely with various departments to ensure compliance.

A day in the life of Junior Regulatory and Scientific Affairs Specialist

  • Stay up-to-date with local regulatory requirements and changes.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, nutritionists, application groups, legal, and quality departments to ensure regulatory compliance of product recipes, labeling, and product communication.
  • Implement action plans in response to regulatory changes in the market.
  • Contribute as a team member to local innovation and renovation projects.
  • Act as a regulatory collaborator in the Idea to Launch (I2L) process.
  • Establish an internal network relevant to the job role.

 

 

What will make you successful?

  • Ideally, you are a proactive person, detail-oriented and well-organized with a problem-solving mindset.
  • You showcase a willingness to learn and work in a team.
  • You have an university degree in food science (e.g., food technologist/nutrition).
  • Possess knowledge and/or experience in nutrition, food technology, raw materials, and finished products within a regulatory environment (e.g., labeling, consumer information, nutrition and health claims, additives, food safety).
  • You have good knowledge of English language, both written and spoken.
  • You are advanced user of MS Office package.
