We are looking for results driven and passionate to build expertise in the field professional to join our Engineering Team in Factory Surčin, Belgrade, Serbia at the position of:

 

 

Project Engineering Manager

 

 

The main purpose of the position is to:

 

Manage the design, implementation, and start-up phases of capital investment projects on the manufacturing site and to ensure that the objectives of the investment project charter, design specifications and Nestlé standards are implemented and adhered to.

 


A day in the life of Project Engineering Manager:

 

Before starting the project design phase:

  • Support the Factory Manager in defining the project team, project scope, success criteria and milestone deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Ensure available standards and best practices, as well as understanding of current category, to ensure that project design credit will be efficiently utilized.

During project design phase:

  • Execute the basic and detailed design of the project based on Nestlé Corporate Business Principles, Nestlé Corporate and Category standards, local regulations, the defined User Requirements Specifications and the TPM characteristics of a unit operation (safety, quality, affordability, maintainability, operability, and reliability.
  • Ensure Category standards and best practices are leveraged in the design to enable Manufacturing Excellence by Leading the Target Setting Allocation exercise for at leas the bottleneck and critical equipment.

During the start-up phase of the project:

  • Coordinate efforts with the Key stakeholders and their team to ensure a Vertical Start-up.  Meeting manufacturing excellence criteria and the required production volumes.  Complete and smooth transition to operations after the qualification and verification of the installation.
  • Prepare and distribute the engineering project documentation, including the engineering part of the project final report, the Project Defect analysis (PDA) and provide feedback to the Maintenance Prevention System.
  • Ensure that all new assets are registered in the system and that their expense is properly allocated to start depreciation.
  • Ensure that the investment project charter has been fulfilled and that the project scope is achieved with the agreed cost and timing.

 

This position directly reports to Factory Manager – Factory Surčin.

 

What will make you successful?

 

  • You have relevant work experience at least 5 years of project management within in factory environment and university degree with technical background
  • You have proven success in managing different projects and stakeholders
  • You have strong communication skills, are able to challenge the current status quo and have passion to deliver results
  • You show openness and curiosity for new ideas and opportunities
  • You have knowledge of English language, both written and spoken, you are advanced user of MS Office package
  • Demonstrating exceptional leadership skills by inspiring, coaching, and leading the engineering project team, fostering integration, motivation, feedback, development, and effective communication
