Position Summary

Talent Acquisition team is looking for a dynamic, proactive team player with genuine integrity, desire to ensure the development, validation, communication and efficient implementation of new or changing items/services to strengthen our Human Resources Team in Belgrade, on the position of:

 

Payroll Specialist Serbia (m/f)

temporary position

A day in the life of Payroll Specialist Serbia

•         Develops and implements coordination of information related to the calculation of salaries, benefits, suspensions and reimbursements within the company, together with the Payroll agency as well as with employees;
• Calculation of salaries, benefits, taxes and contributions for health and social insurance and deductions from salaries and payments in accordance with predefined deadlines;
•  Calculation of other types of personal incomes (calculation of salaries, jubilee awards, severance pay, other types of employment contract, leases, solidarity help, etc.) and payment in accordance with predifined deadlines;
•         Maintains payroll records;
• Responsible for preparing reports and providing inputs to accounting department for postings related to the calculation and payment of salaries, benefits, allowances, deductions and other related payments as well as adjusting the balance of relevant accounts; Provides to Accounting department data on provisions (accruals)
• Control and harmonization of balances on accounts related to the calculation of salaries and reimbursements with the Tax Administration;
• Preparation of statistical reports in accordance with the requirements and deadlines of the SBS (Republic Statistical Office);
• Provides definitions and improvements of the payroll process due to changes in laws or internal guidelines together with the payroll agency;

 Expat Administration
• Supervises and helps expatriates in the search for an apartment / house, organizes all related payments; coordination with the landlord / real estate agency and the relocation agency, local bank service, and provides information on local education system; Takes into account the duration of the lease contracts, in order to be terminated or extended in a timely manner;
• Communication with Tax Provider for taxation on Tax report for expatriates and employees on missions;

Compensation and benefits
•         Supervises annual benefits implementation for Serbia in cooperation with the Total Rewards Team (e.g. medical check up, employee insurance, etc.);
•        Coordinates timely and accurate submission of required employee data for employees in Serbia, to the company providing Life insurance (e.g. employees joining/leaving the company);

  • University degree preferably in economy 
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience in payroll in FMCG company with local production
  • You are a team player, eager to learn and grow
  • You have good communication skills and attention to details
  • You are a proactive person, focused on improving process and ways of working
  • You are very analytical and details oriented 
  • You are thinking outside the boundaries to solve a problem
  • You have excellent knowledge of English language, both written and spoken and you are advanced user of MS Office package
  • Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
