Position Summary

 

As the Inventory Control Specialist you will play a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing inventory accuracy between Third Party warehouses and our Nespresso ERP systems. You will lead the charge in conducting daily and weekly stock reconciliation, utilizing root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques to ensure precision. Collaborating with our 3PL partners, you will drive improvements in inventory control processes, guaranteeing accurate stock management. Your responsibilities will also include data entry, reporting, and troubleshooting tasks, ensuring seamless stock movements and generating insightful reports. Additionally, you will provide invaluable support to various departments, addressing logistics-related requests, and stepping in as the primary backfill for Logistics and Reverse Logistics Specialists. Please note: Priority will be given to candidates residing in or near Bethlehem, PA, New York City, NY or Riverside, CA who are able to work a hybrid schedule at our Distribution Centers in these locations.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Stock Reconciliation:

  • Lead daily and weekly stock reconciliation for individual stock locations within the 3P WMS and corresponding locations in Nessoft. This will involve utilizing root cause analysis, problem-solving skills, and following standard routines.
  • Work on improving the current inventory control processes with our 3PL partners to ensure accurate stock management, including the development of a Stock Management SOP.
  • Lead the daily reconciliation of Amazon trade orders and inventory.

Data Entry & Reporting:

  • Processing stock movements in Nessoft and running daily reports from Nessoft and Edge to track adjustments and stock movements for reconciliation.
  • In the event of message failures, you will run failed messages from Nessoft to troubleshoot and resolve any issues.
  • Run hold reports to align systems and ensure proper management of quality holds.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for daily logistics-related requests from various departments, including 3PL, HQ, CRC, B2B, BTQ, Trade, TQM, Special Events, Finance, Marketing, Business Excellence, and Demand Supply Planning.
  • Serve as the primary backfill for all Logistics and Reverse Logistics Specialist tasks on a daily basis.

Specific responsibilities and requirements of this role may vary.

 

Experience & Education Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree required. Industrial Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related fields preferred.                                
  • At least 2 years of supply chain, manufacturing/distribution/warehouse operations, inventory control, or physical logistics experience, preferred.
  • Proven experiences in consumer goods industry and/or B2C , retail logistics.
  • Strong working knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange and Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Professional Experience in Logistics/EDI/Stock Reconciliation and dealing with 3rd Party Warehousing.
  • Evidence of successful process improvement leadership in operations and/or supply chain.
  • DMAIC/GSTD experience
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, while simultaneously working on and leading multiple projects and assignments.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • High proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Up to 10% travel - Warehouse/Corporate visits.  
  • Ability to work extended hours and quarterly weekend stock counts as needed.

 

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $67,000.00 to $83,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
