• Type of contract: Permanent - Full-time

Position Summary

This job has been responsible for driving quality assurance and quality control system in manufacturing processes to ensure that finished products are timely released to market with food safety and quality compliance.

A day in the life of...

Responsibility for quality assurance of manufacturing process :

  • Accountability/Responsibility for reviewing/updating specification of finished products.
  • Setting up HACCP plan and HACCP verification plan to ensure product safety and reviewing quality monitoring scheme of processes.
  • Establishing quality monitoring scheme of finished products/ sampling plans and implement.
  • Maintenance of QM view & storage view in SAP for finished products.
  • Reviewing inspection results on/in process/line, bulks and finished products.
  • Coordinating with other dept. (Production, Engineering…) to investigate for quality/food safety incidents to take correction & corrective action.
  • Trend analysis of analytical results to take corrective/preventive action.

Responsibility for keeping quality & reference samples:

  • Sampling to keeping samples for reference and quality monitoring during product shelf life.
  • Reviewing results of keeping quality for action if needed.
  • Release of finished goods which complied to Nestle specifications:
  • Establishing/reviewing release procedure related to rework, bulk & finished products.
  • Coordinating and communicating with MRP, Supply Chain on released or on-hold finished goods.
  • Providing the Certificate of Analysis (COA) and packing lists as requested.

Safety responsible:

  • Risk prevention/protection and safety for all staff including establishing safety instruction
  • Making sure process running in accordance with corresponding instruction
  • Adequate safety training given to staff, safety devices/guarding and personal protect equipment are properly installed/used correctly, if required.

QUALIFICATIONS :-  (educational background, experiences and other basic requirements i.e. computer, language)

  • Education requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Science in Chemistry or Food Science
  • English ability: Intermediate English (Speaking, writing, reading)
  • Computer knowledge: MS. Word, MS. Excel, MS. Power Point, Email
  • Experience related to position: 2 – 3 years in similar position


Functional/Professional/Technical Competencies  (state specific knowledge, skill and experience critical for the job)

  • NQMS, HACCP, GLP
  • Good microbiology knowledge and have basis processing knowledge
  • Raw and packaging material knowledge
  • Laboratory tools and equipment
  • Analysis methods (chemical, physical, etc)
  • MS Office Programs
  • People management, Facilitation skills, strong communication skills, coaching skill
  • Problem solving & Decision making
