A great opportunity for to join our growing team in the AOA engineering hub of Nestle Purina Petcare. 

 

We have an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join the Nestle Purina Petcare AOA central engineering team. You will be responsible to lead and coordinate a comprehensive company-wide asset maintenance programme across our manufacturing facilities in Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, and China. The position is located in Blayney, NSW, in our regional engineering hub.
 

A day in the life of...

 

Reporting to the regional Chief Engineer (Engineering Director), this leadership role requires close and effective collaboration with factory Engineering management and maintenance teams in multiple geographies.

 

You will be responsible to:

 

 

  • Coordinate the implementation of maintenance management systems and TPM planned maintenance strategy to improve maintenance quality and effectiveness.
  • Coach and monitor the effectiveness of planned maintenance routines within our factories. 
  • Coach breakdown and component failure analysis to improve and build effective maintenance plans.
  • Build organisational maintenance capability and competence.
  • Drive continuous improvement to optimise maintenance cost and equipment reliability.
     

What will make you successful

 

  • Joining a collaborative team, you will be a strong team player with a drive to deliver quality outcomes with efficiency and with a passion for continuous process improvement.
  • Enjoy working within cross-functional teams in a dynamic work environment.
  • Degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related areas.
  • Experience in maintenance management preferably in FMCG related manufacturing environment (min 5 years)
  • A high level of detail, curiosity, and problem-solving abilities
  • Coaching, training, and leadership experience
  • Strong communication and presentation skills 

 

Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia and have Permanent Residency.
