Full Time, Permanent
Rotating Roster, 12 hour days, Day, Afternoon & Night Shifts, Monday to Friday, Average 38hr per week

Based at the Nestle Purina Blayney site and reporting to the Warehouse Manager, we are recruiting for a Line Manager to responsible for maintaining performance and supervising shifts in the Warehouse. Join our rapidly expanding domestic & export Petcare business to excel in safe and efficient warehousing including transportation of packaging, raw materials and finished goods across Internal & external network.

A day in the life of...

•    Manage and lead the Warehouse shift teams consistent with Nestle Policies & Procedures including coaching and disciplinary.
•    Coordinating labour effectively.
•    Communication of key issues to the Distribution teams. 
•    Work cross functionally with other departments to ensure customer delivery and prioritisation of the Distribution and supply chain activities to support the requisite service level. 
•    Manage changes and improvements in Warehouse using existing business systems.
•    Succession planning for the Warehouse shift teams 
•    Responsible for ensuring and investigating safety processes including chain of responsibility.

What will make you successful

•    Previous leadership experience ideally in Warehouse or Supply Chain
•    You will have excellent people management skills, with a continuous improvement mind set and demonstrable experience in leading and engaging a team to motivate and enhance performance.
•    Strong written and communication skills
•    Demonstrated ability to show initiative, be well organised, self-motivated.
•    Display a professional approach to Continuous Improvement Processes.
•    Ensure quality, safety and environment standards are effectively implemented and adhered to in the Production environments. 

COVID-19 VACCINATION

COVID-19 vaccination may be required to perform this role, based on the Public Health Orders applicable in some States and Territories and/or conditions of premises entry set by our customers. You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccination or medical exemption as part of our recruitment process.

•    Sight and record as sighted (all States and Territories exl Victoria).
•    Record and Hold: Victoria
Vaccination evidence includes:
•    an immunisation history statement
•    a COVID-19 digital certificate 
•    an email or other document (printed or electronic) from the Department of Home Affairs that confirms a person has completed an Australia Travel Declaration and has been vaccinated against COVID-19 overseas
•    a medical exemption, which includes a medical contraindication certificate
