PCC Trial Supervisor

The Opportunity (this is a 12 month contract role)


We are seeking a candidate to partner with the PCC manager in overseeing general site administration and managing various tasks related to people and site operations management. The role involves collaboration with the SHE coordinator, security, compliance, quality, and engineering teams. Responsibilities include managing the visitor program, engaging with stakeholders at multiple levels, and maintaining relationships with other sites, including the Blayney Factory and the Global PetCare Network. The primary focus will be on managing PCC resources to ensure the accurate and efficient execution of all trials. 

 

 

A day in the Life


Responsibilities include but not limited to: 


•    People Management: Oversee a team of pet technicians, fostering an environment that empowers employees to perform their roles effectively and efficiently, thereby enhancing job satisfaction and engagement.
•    Onboarding and Offboarding: Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees in accordance with company policies and procedures.•    Compliance and Quality Assurance: Address any breaches or non-compliance issues promptly to uphold quality standards and ensure alignment with company values and operational practices. 
•    Conflict Resolution: Exercise effective conflict resolution strategies when required to maintain a harmonious work environment.
•    Collaboration with HR: Maintain ongoing collaboration with relevant HR departments to support employee development and organizational goals.
•    Continuous relationship with PTC and Global PetCare network in order to implement and standardise all techniques between all centres globally.
•    Implementing, adapting and executing all techniques following the company procedures, ensuring reliable results that will be taken into account, allowing correct decisions during the innovation and renovation process.
•    Support local and Regional TAG teams, planning, organising and executing the required trials
•    Support the visitors program, working with the PCC Leadership team to receive partners, vet students, sellers; sharing this important NPP facility and the science-based insights that help enrich the lives of pets and the people who love them.
•    Assure the application of NPP Global Pet Welfare Policies in our PCC.
•    Safeguard company’s information and ensure confidentiality

 

 

What Will Make You Successful

 

  • People management. Mandatory
  • Preferably professional certificate/diploma/degree in pet-care management
  • Experience in vet practices and pet welfare with dogs and cats
  • Understanding of budget processes
  • Inventory management
  • Ability to make presentations about the PCC and pet welfare policies to visitors and authorities
  • Ability to represent Nestlé to authorities
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external groups

 

It is essential that applicants are eligible to work permanently in Australia. Applicants will be required to undergo pre-employment checks prior to appointment to this role
