Position Summary

 

As the Lead Accounting Coordinator, you will be a subject matter expert in accounting matters, such as factory compliance. You will work under limited supervision conducting compliance audits and identifying cost savings opportunities throughout the plant.  You will provide input on practices, procedures, and policies.

 

 

  • Drive improvement to existing plant procedures, policies, and practices to improve compliance
  • Conduct factory audits for compliance, identify gaps, and work with various other factory team members to develop and close out action plans
  • Navigate and understand various system to identify challenges with policy and procedure adherence
  • Perform health checks using data analysis for month end closing and policy adherence
  • Work cross functionally with key departments to identify cost savings and calculate benefit of identified projects
  • Understand the business environment through cross functional collaboration assisting with identifying waste, month end closing, and forecasting
  • Assist in the budget process by working with the Controller and overseeing department budgets
  • Complete costing of new materials

 

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 2+ years of accounting or data analysis experience in a manufacturing, agricultural, military, or related environment

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $48,000 - $69,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
