Position Summary

 

As a Production Operator, what will you contribute to our team? You'll operate litter lines and all associated equipment in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining all aspects of the line by continuously monitoring and making adjustments to equipment as needed. You will ensure that the line is continuously supplied with raw materials from the warehouse. This position requires the ability to successfully perform all functions of the task training guidelines. You'll also review and actively participate in risk assessments as well as successfully achieving position qualifications through evaluations.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Operate production lines in packaging, clumping and/or processing
  • Supply line and associated equipment with all raw materials- jugs, pails, caps, cases, bags, pallets, etc. from the warehouse
  • Fill jugs, boxes, bags, pails, and palletize
  • Ensure that products meet applicable quality standards. This includes inspection for quality during operation and performing all required sampling and testing
  • Assure the continuous and smooth operation of the lines for required quality and quantity
  • Make all necessary adjustments to equipment, including changeovers as necessary
  • Maintain housekeeping standards


Basic Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma or GED
  • 6 months of manufacturing experience, military experience, experience in a fast-paced work environment or related course work
