POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Shipping Associate, you will be responsible for handling the shipment of all finished products that are loaded onto trucks in a safe and efficient manner. You will ensure proper accountability of all finished products and goods to the shipping warehouse, as well as ensuring product is of high quality before loading onto trucks. This position will be responsible for reviewing and actively participating in the risk assessments, as well as successfully achieving position qualifications through evaluations. Successful candidates must maintain a great attendance record and must be able to work overtime and nights.
This position will require you to work nights and overtime on a 12/2 schedule.
- Safely load/unload trailers ensuring weight distribution, load integrity and ensure all shipping instructions are being followed.
- Navigating and following instructions through the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Product preparation, including case-picking and label placement.
- Operating all shipping equipment, including forklifts, with various attachments (pull-pack, slip sheet, etc.) in a warehouse environment.
- Participate in shift handover meetings and other continuous improvement activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 1 year forklift experience required
The hourly pay rate for this position is $22.82. Please note that the pay rate provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
