Position Summary

Located in southeast Missouri, Bloomfield is a small town with rich history, and we are proud to call it home to one of our litter factories since 1976. Our factory in Bloomfield was the first to produce Lightweight® litter, a product that weighs half the amount of conventional litter, revolutionizing the pet care industry. An innovative feature of this factory is an overhead bridge that allows full pallets of finished products to be conveyed to the distribution center just north of the factory. This innovation, along with others, played a significant role in Nestlé Purina earning the Malcolm Baldrige Award, the highest level of national recognition for performance excellence that a U.S. organization can receive. Our factory also works to do our part to care for the environment, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity, and maintaining zero waste for disposal.  In 2020, our Bloomfield factory underwent a 110,000-square-foot expansion in processing and packaging, thanks to a $115 million investment. This expansion allowed Nestlé Purina to meet the growing demand from cat owners. As a Senior Inventory Control Coordinator, you'll lead inventory accuracy and system performance efforts in our largest, most automated distribution center. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll troubleshoot complex challenges, support daily operations, and become a key technical resource within the facility. Must be willing to work 12-hour night shifts including some weekends 

• Responsible for maintaining the operation at peak efficiency through standard routines and your learned insight.  

• Respond swiftly and effectively to systems, logic, or physical issues that hold up throughput.  

• Support First Expirations/First Out product management by close monitoring of the system's performance.  

• Manage product quarantine or inspections required by the factory.  

• Work directly with Team Leaders, Warehouse administration, and communicate with other ASRS Specialists, Warehouse Technicians, Production Personnel, Operations Planning Management, and QA.  Additionally, you will be part of a network of peers at other factories and Headquarters support staff.  

• Lead or participate in shift handover meetings and other continuous improvement activities, effectively applying the lean methodologies appropriate to eliminate waste and deliver results.  

• Collaborate with teams across multiple departments for continuous improvement efforts.      

Requirements  

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent  

• 2+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, production, logistics, military, or related environment  

The approximate pay range for this position is $43,000 to $60,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
