This position will work the evening shift: 3pm-11:30pm, Monday - Friday.

The Lead Tablet Press Operator is responsible for all activities related to the compression of product as per formula instructions and assisting the supervisor on a daily basis. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced
•    Manages the department in the absence of the supervisor and/or manager
•    Operates tablet press machinery independently as well as within a team environment
•    Matches all labels with batch records
•    Documents tablet press process information as per SOP
•    Loads and unloads tablet press machine
•    Monitors tablet press operation periodically and report any conditions to the manager
 

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
•    High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
•    Military experience a plus
•    Prior machine operator experience in a manufacturing or packaging setting required
•    Ability to write simple correspondence
•    Basic mathematical skills
•    Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions
•    Physical ability to repetitively lift up to 50lbs., stand, climb, bend., etc. within a manufacturing environment

•     Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc. within a manufacturing/warehouse/packaging environment for an extended period of time
•    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
