Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.
This role operates on the day shift, with a schedule of Monday-Friday hours to vary between 6:00am-4:30pm.
ONBOARDING SCHEDULE:
To ensure a successful start and seamless integration into the team, this role includes a structured 4–5-day onboarding program, typically scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. All new employees are expected to complete this onboarding during their first week.
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Training Lead, you’ll support and mentor new and experienced production associates, along with certified On‑the‑Job Trainers. You’ll also work closely with Line Supervisors to coordinate training, evaluate skills, address compliance gaps, and keep training materials current while aligning best practices across teams and shifts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create and update training materials using standardized formatting and processes
-
Review trainee performance and provide consistent, standardized feedback
-
Deliver training using visual, auditory, and hands-on (kinesthetic) learning methods
-
Assess individual learning styles in real time and adapt training approach as needed
-
Support NCE and Advanced Initiatives, including TPM and Lean, within a manufacturing environment
-
Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times
-
Comply with all FDA and USDA rules, procedures, and work practices
REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to follow detailed instructions with strong attention to detail
-
Basic operational, mechanical, and technical skills
-
Strong people skills, including active listening, clear communication, rapport-building, and relationship development
-
Flexible schedule, with the ability to work overtime as needed (required)
-
Completion of Trainer Certification requirements within the designated timeframe
-
Completion of Everyday Coaching Certification requirements within the designated timeframe
-
1–2 years of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook (or comparable email platforms)
SKILLS:

Comfortable using computers, calculators, and telephones

Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Able to read, write, and understand English

Team-oriented, dependable, and reliable

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Able to work effectively in indoor manufacturing environments with temperature changes, noise, dust, and moving equipment
