Position Summary:
As the Senior Training Coordinator at our site, you will play a vital role in supporting our large packaging operations by helping to shape and manage the site’s training program. You will collaborate with trainers on the floor and track various training initiatives, including new hire training. Additionally, you will assist in developing training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials. This position requires close collaboration with the site leadership team to ensure that all approved work rules and training protocols are consistently followed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own and Lead the Onboarding Program
- Implement, and continuously improve the factory’s onboarding experience for all new hires.
- Collaborate with HR, department managers, and site leadership to ensure onboarding aligns with company culture, compliance, and operational readiness.
- Monitor onboarding effectiveness through feedback, retention metrics, and performance indicators.
- Compliance & Regulatory Training Oversight
- Ensure all mandatory compliance training is delivered, tracked, and documented in accordance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Serve as the point of contact for audits and inspections related to training records and compliance.
- Metrics & Reporting
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track training completion, effectiveness, and impact.
- Present training performance data to site leadership and recommend improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between departments to ensure training programs are aligned with operational changes, new technologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support change management efforts through targeted training and communication strategies.
- Assists the Training Manager in preparing, organizing, writing, and providing training for existing and new employees.
- Updates and prepares teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, and multimedia visual aids
- Coordinate training schedule with the hiring needs of the site.
- Works with management, supervisors, and associates to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies.
- Coordinates and arranges for a training program for entry level warehouse positions
- Prepares and keeps appropriate forms, records and feedback regarding content, trainers, qualifiers, and training progress
- Writes job aides, such as checklists, forms and one-point lessons as needed.
- Keeps records on training, qualification, and reports metrics and statistical summaries.
- Assist associates with problems concerning "how to" perform specific tasks related to their distribution position
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
Experience & Education Requirements:
- One to three years of experience in writing, supporting, and facilitating instructional training programs.
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution center setting.Associate's degree or currently pursuing higher education.
- Certification such as ASTD (American Society for Training and Development) is preferred.
The most qualified candidates will possess a combination of the following skills and abilities:
- Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of management, trainers, and associates.
- Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and creative thinking abilities.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable speaking in public, with the ability to moderate large groups.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills necessary for producing and delivering quality training programs.

The approximate pay range for this position is $60,000.00 to $70,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
