Position Summary:
Reporting to the Sr. Factory Controller, you will own the financial performance narrative for our packaging facility. From standard costing and variance analysis to strategic cost studies that directly influence leadership decisions, you will be at the center of how this site measures, understands, and improves its financial results.
As a key business partner on the Local Leadership Team, you will maintain standard costs in SAP, conduct financial and operational analyses across conversion cost, material consumption / loss, inventory accuracy and other critical metrics. You will proactively generate cost improvement ideas that drive enhanced business outcomes.
This position will be onsite at our Bohemia, NY or Holbrook, NY factory location.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a Business partner for the factory management of a packaging site, providing support on all financial matters and participating in the Local Leadership Team
- Ensure proper execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and prepare standard and non-standard journal entries in accordance with Nestlé Accounting Standards
- Independently handle yearly cost planning (Annual Cost Estimate), monthly reporting, variance analysis and forecasting (Year End Estimate) for the site as well as planning and calculating production costs, transfer price revisions, and maintaining master data
- Provide analytics to evaluate variances to standard. Provide explanations to the key drivers along with recommendations to improve costs. Communicate cost risks and opportunities to leadership
- Proactively manage emerging risks and opportunities in cooperation with factory management
- Prepare cost studies and profitability analyses for investment decisions and special evaluations (e.g., benchmarks)
- Adhere to factory costing processes with Nestlé Costing Standards
- Drive process optimization towards more digitalization and simplification, supporting the factory in TPM, NCE, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives
- Regular presence on the production floor is expected to build operational understanding and partner effectively with factory teams
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or comparable
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Cost Accounting, Finance and/or experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros, financial modeling)
- Must be proficient with Windows, Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Power Point, Power BI or other data visualization tools
- SAP experience strongly preferred
- Fluent English (written and verbal)

The approximate pay range for this position is $100,000 to $115,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
