Position Summary
We are looking for a Customer Service Summer Student based at our Nestlé Brampton location to join our Ice Cream Customer Service Operations team from May 2026 to August 2026. This role will be responsible for being front line for our Nestlé Canada customers, building valuable relationships and continuing to earn their respect and trust by delivering best-in-class service. This position is an existing vacancy.
A day in the life of a Customer Service Summer Student on our Ice Cream Team
A Customer Service Summer Student builds relationship with customers who have a current Nestlé Ice Cream account and supports the process of bringing new accounts on board. They collaborate cross functionally with other departments; namely distribution, finance, route planning, and logistic operations while managing business relations and building trusting relationships with Nestlé’s customers.
You will:
- Be part of a friendly, supportive team with a coaching and mentoring environment.
- Have access to training and development programs and opportunity to gain experience within the company.
- Receive developmental feedback to ensure that you are learning and developing your skills.
- Build your business acumen and leadership capabilities and support your development and long-term success.
- Present to Leadership at end of term, to showcase your intern experience and share your feedback.
- Have access to the Discount Company store with Nestlé, Nespresso, and Purina products.
- Have additional discounts on a variety of products and services offered by our preferred vendors and partnerships.
What will make you successful?
As the successful candidate, you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be fully fluent in French & English (written and verbal), be enthusiastic, results-focused, and meticulous. Additionally, you are an adaptive person and must be comfortable working within a dynamic, fast-paced, time-sensitive, team environment.
You will also:
- Be currently enrolled in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year program, preferably in a business-related discipline.
- Be a pro-active thinker & problem solver who can troubleshoot and generate solutions to support customer needs.
- Have superior telephone manner with demonstrated customer service skills.
- Have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel). Experience in Power BI is considered an asset.
- Be fluent in French & English, written and verbal.
