Compensation Range: $75,000 - $83,000

What to Expect:

As the Distribution Supervisor, you’ll play a critical role in operating our reliable, efficient, and customer-focused ice cream distribution network. You’ll support our Route to Market strategy, enabled through our Direct Store Delivery (DSD) partners, ensuring products flow accurately, compliantly, and on time—every single day.

This role partners closely with Distributors, Warehousing, Customer Solutions, Route Planning, and Trade Asset teams to deliver exceptional service to our customers all while unlocking operational efficiencies across the network.

 

 

 

 

A day in the life:

  • Act as the primary connection point for assigned Buy‑Sell and DSD Distributors for our ice cream operations.
  • Track and optimize daily service performance (OnTime Delivery, Delivery Accuracy, Short‑Time Delivery, Delivery Accuracy, Shorton‑on‑Load, Refusals).
  • Drive adoption and compliance of handheld/portal tools, including training support.
  • Manage the full order to‑to‑cash lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Route Planning on route reviews and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance of QA & Safety best practices, while managing strict Cold Chain standards across all distributor operations.
  • Identify and act on continuous improvement improvement‑improvement opportunities using NCE methodologies.

 

Operational Execution

  • Own the end-to-end movement of shipments seeing deliveries through completion & settlement. Troubleshoot service issues (frequency changes, special deliveries) and maintain compliance with QA, NQMS, Health & Safety, and transportation governance.

 

Distributor Performance Management

  • Monitor service KPIs, provide performance coaching, validate routing schedules, and identify efficiency gains. Maintain contracts, rate agreements, and compliance documentation to ensure high quality execution‑quality execution aligned to budget expectations.

Continuous Improvement

  • Leverage Nestle Continuous Excellence tools to reduce waste, improve flow and deliver digitally enabled solutions to problems at hand.

 

 

Role Requirements

Preferred Skills

  • Bilingual proficiency (French/English) required
  • University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent experience
  • 2–4+ years in Logistics, DSD, Transportation, Warehousing, or Distributor Management
  • Experience in Convenience & Gas channel/merchandising/retail is an asset
  • Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems, handheld/portal tools, QA/HACCP practices, and retail order‑to‑cash flows
  • A curious, data‑driven mindset, with strong analytical abilities (strong excel skills, Power BI, Tableau preferred)
