Position Summary

We are looking for a O2C Customer Solutions Analyst - Claims for Nestlé based at our Brampton location. The primary purpose of the Customer Solutions Analyst is to effectively analyse non-trade related claims within the Claims and Deductions Cockpit to ensure accurate clearing of damaged and expired products.  The role also aims to eliminate waste and complexity in the O2C Flow with timely execution to meet agreed service levels and deliver working capital KPI's.

A day in the life of...

Effective Management of Non-Trade related claims  
• Timely validation of damage and expired claims against contractual obligations and outlined approved process to ensure deduction clearing is authorized
• Match SAP credit memos against appropriate deductions within SAP
• Accurately perform consistent evaluations of deductions and escalate invalid claims to internal partners for repayment requests
• Achievement of Nestlé Canada and/or Nestle Direct reporting business monthly deduction targets
• Development and execution of appropriate controls to ensure compliance with Nestlé Accounting Standards
• Prepare reports for the different lines of business by analysing year over year non-trade deductions

Effective Management of Non-Trade Management tools to drive to Best Practice
• Timely updates with Sales and stakeholders on any unfavourable customer trends 
• Timely clearing and communications relating to post audits received by customers 
• Identify and drive process improvement for reducing administrative costs by streamlining processes and reducing deduction volume 
• Provide insight to improve accuracy and efficiency of non-trade clearing

Internal Collaboration to ensure timely resolution of customer deductions
• Timely collaboration with Sales and other stakeholders 
• Demonstrate effective communication with internal partners and/or customers on outstanding unauthorized deductions. This includes understanding the process for requesting and collecting repayment of invalid Non-trade deductions, identifying trends, and resolving issues that cause invalid trade deductions
• Actively participate with internal and external stakeholders in dealing with, influencing or motivating the O2C collection and deduction resolution process
• Timely escalation of any issues to the Sales Finance with a recommendation for resolution

Process Optimization through the identification of nonvalue added activities within Order to Cash
• Timely collaboration with Market and internal partners to mitigate program management and exceptions which result in untimely resolution
• Actively provide 360 visibility on non-trade deduction status to customers and internal teams
• Management of relationships with key internal stakeholders, including in market, to ensure quality in the processes meet business and system requirements
• Drive continuous improvement within the team to a more efficient exception management process to meet and exceed all KPI's and SLA's
• Accurately maintain working capital reporting requirements
• Effective use of Nestle tools, standards, and best practices
• Identify gaps and opportunities in current processes using LEAN and FI tools
 

What will make you successful

As the successful candidate, you will be a champion of the order to cash process throughout the organisation so you will need to be passionate, tenacious, results focused and really enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. You will also have:

•    Completion of University Degree in Finance or Business Administration working towards a recognized Accounting Designation (CPA or CFA).  
•    LEAN, Six Sigma or Focus Improvement Certification is a strong asset. 
•    Self-starter with strong analytical skills, the ability to prioritize workflow and operate independently in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
•    Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
•    Bilingual French/English is an asset
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information in understandable terms at all levels of the organization.
•    Strong interpersonal skills as candidate is required to deal with people both individually and in groups to resolve conflicts. 
•    Professional and concise communication with key internal and external stakeholders
•    Ability to apply perspective, pragmatism and maintain composure under pressure
•    Project Management experience to support or lead projects
