What to Expect:
We are looking for a Retail Sales Representative for an 18-month contract in Ontario reporting into the Retail Sales Manager. This position is ideal for a high-energy, self-motivated, analytical, creative professional who is looking for an opportunity to further develop a dynamic sales career and build a long-term career with Nestlé. The successful applicant will be responsible for the Pickering to Bowmanville Territory. This position is an existing vacancy.
A day in the life:
As a Retail Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing retail stores to deliver sales and merchandising objectives for an assigned territory.
- Execute all in store activities within the framework of Nestlé 8 Steps of a Call and the 4C Selling process.
- Bring strategic initiatives created by account teams to territory to achieve targets
- Plan territory coverage in order to achieve targeted coverage KPI's and assigned sales volume targets.
- Develop relationships with retail decision makers to drive achievement of Nestlé objectives
- Adhere to all Company principles and policies including Safety and local regulations
- Manage full financial processes within corporate guidelines.
- Actively participate in all cycle meetings and Customer Banner meetings
Role Requirements
- Post secondary education
- Candidate must live within the territory, live in close proximity to the territory, or be willing to relocate.
- Must be able and willing to travel as required based on territory needs.
- 1+ year of accumulated experience (including internships and coops) in retail sales, customer service or merchandising.
- Strong problem solving, business thinking and analytical skills.
- Proven experience using MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and a good understanding of network applications related to Sales Information.
- Must possess a full valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Demonstrated interest in building a long-term career and growing within Nestlé.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to build relationships with colleagues internally and externally
- Strong problem solving, business thinking and analytical skills.

Compensation Range: $56,000 - $58,000 CAD
