2023 Nestlé Health Science Maintenance and Engineering Intern

What to expect:
The primary role of this intern is to support the Maintenance team through Stockroom and failure mode analysis on equipment. The intern will work with the Maintenance Manager to evaluate our Stockroom processes and roll out the 5S procedure for parts. Also, the intern will work on a failure model analysis on two machine centers that we use on our powder side and work cross functionally with Pilot Plant and Maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stockroom – Roll out 5S activity for parts to be categorized by equipment. Develop key processes for the stockroom: Write Off Procedure & implement the new ways of working to scan out inventory with iPads
- Maintenance Reliability – Develop a failure mode analysis (FMEA) on two key pieces of equipment’s for the powder side and create Bill of Materials from analysis. (Dumping Station & metal detector).
Experience Requirements:
- Some experience preferred, but not required.
Skills:
- Self-starters who are result-oriented, analytical, innovative, intellectually curious and who take initiative and risks.
- Excellent communicators (both written and verbal) who encourage others and excel in a team environment.
- Ability to learn quickly, embrace change, and thrive in a fast-paced, environment.
- Strong organizational & planning skills.
Education Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in Engineering
- GPA of 3.00 and above
Available Summer of 2023 for a 10-week internship.
